dad's death anniversary

Dad's death anniversary was Nov 26.

It has been 6 years now. Interestingly so much changes within these short period of time.
The heartache of missing someone dearly could never be described. Just 7 years ago, i was still surviving thru my N level, I remembered how my dad used to encourage me.. talk sense to me. Now that he is gone, I can no longer confine my problem to anyone. Yes, i do have a boyfriend at that time. But boyfriend isint as awesome as Dad. Life have been tough but I'm glad that I have accomplished whatever I need to do. Like studies and work are second priorities. Obviously families are my primary priority.

I just wanna say that I still misses my Dad alot and his forever smiling face tattoo ed in my brain. Well, at least I know he is with the Lord now.

Daddy, I miss you and love you always.  Hope you can see this somehow.

ChiroKare Spine & Nerve Clinic @ Tanglin shopping centre

I bought my mum to this ChiroKare at Tangling Shopping Centre.
Honestly, Dr Kim was really good. He knows exactly where are your problems/pain. However, I think they should not try to push patients to buy their package.

What is it?

Chiropractic focuses on the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders effecting the musculoskeletal and nervous systems. It involves the use of the Doctor's hands to apply a gentle and highly specific force to adjust the spine and other joints of the body back into proper alignment.

Firstly, the nurse will take you to a room and take your front and side view with IPHONE.

Secondly, Dr Kim will do a general consultation with you. He will ask for your list of concerns. It could be backache, shoulder pain, numbness in your hands/legs etc. After which, he will go through your overall posture based on the photo you took earlier.

Thirdly, he then start to use this weird instrument to test your arm/finger's sensation. Feel your spine's alignment just by touching!

Finally, he will do adjustment on that day! He will then go on and on to comment and give you advices. He's really very patience and you can feel that he's not like some other fucked up doctor just trying to brush you off. He really spent time to educate you as well. 

then... the annoying part will be... the nurse will bring you in to another room and persuade you to buy their package. She said to me: 'You have to decide now otherwise you won't get to enjoy this special discount after you leave the clinic today.' I LAUGH and said 'Erm, its okay. I don't reckon its necessary to keep coming in every week to do adjustment at my current age.' Seriously, every week do adjustment?! My posture very jialat meh? I also don't have any major problem what. For my mum, her posture is even better than me. Her only problem was her finger. So every week i come 做什麼??

Anyway, it wasn't painful/scary la.. It's just like you go for massage where they crack your neck and body? I almost curse and swear that day but when you know that you were attended by this handsome doctor then you will be like ... ''Aww... forget it..'' hahahaha :P  A pity that he could not speak chinese, I basically had to translate every sentence because my mother can't speak english.

First consultation + adjustment is $100. 

Subsequent visits will be @ $99/session.
